       Senator Book moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)

    3         Between lines 657 and 658
    4  insert:
    5         (d) Is not ineligible to possess a firearm pursuant to s.
    6  790.23 by virtue of having been:
    7         1. Convicted of a felony; or
    8         2.Adjudicated delinquent for an act that would be a felony
    9  if committed by an adult and such person is under 24 years of
   10  age;
   11         (e) Has not been:
   12         1. Convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence;
   13         2.Dishonorably discharged from any of the Armed Forces of
   14  the United States;
   15         3. Found guilty of a crime under the provisions of chapter
   16  893 or similar laws of any other state relating to controlled
   17  substances within a 3-year period immediately preceding the date
   18  on which the application is submitted; or
   19         4.2. Committed for the abuse of a controlled substance
   20  under chapter 397 or under the provisions of former chapter 396
   21  or similar laws of any other state. An applicant who has been
   22  granted relief from firearms disabilities pursuant to s.
   23  790.065(2)(a)4.d. or pursuant to the law of the state in which
   24  the commitment occurred is deemed not to be committed for the
   25  abuse of a controlled substance under this subparagraph;
