       The Committee on Environmental Preservation and Conservation
       (Soto) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 476 - 479
    4  and insert:
    5  or within 1 mile of any freshwater lake, river, or stream unless
    6  the department is satisfied that the natural resources of such
    7  bodies of water and shore areas of the state will be adequately
    8  protected in the event of accident or blowout.
