Florida Senate - 2015 COMMITTEE AMENDMENT Bill No. SB 584 Ì693702ÉÎ693702 LEGISLATIVE ACTION Senate . House . . . . . ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Appropriations Subcommittee on General Government (Dean) recommended the following: 1 Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 2 3 Delete lines 217 - 286 4 and insert: 5 (2)(a) All current balances remaining in the Florida 6 Communities Trust Fund and the Florida Preservation 2000 Trust 7 Fund shall be transferred to the Florida Forever Trust Fund, 8 FLAIR number 37-2-348. 9 (b) All current balances remaining in the Ecosystem 10 Management and Restoration Trust Fund, the Water Management 11 Lands Trust Fund, and the Conservation and Recreation Lands 12 Trust Fund shall be transferred to the Water Quality Assurance 13 Trust Fund, FLAIR number 37-2-780. 14 (3) The Department of Environmental Protection shall pay 15 all outstanding debts or obligations of the terminated trust 16 funds as required, and the Chief Financial Officer shall close 17 out and remove the terminated trust funds from the various state 18 accounting systems using generally accepted accounting 19 principles concerning warrants outstanding, assets, and 20 liabilities. 21 22 ================= T I T L E A M E N D M E N T ================ 23 And the title is amended as follows: 24 Delete lines 8 - 14 25 and insert: 26 disposition of balances in the trust funds; requiring 27 the Department of Environmental Protection to pay all 28 outstanding debts or obligations of the terminated 29 trust funds; requiring the Chief Financial Officer to 30 close out and remove the terminated trust funds from 31 the various state counting systems; amending s. 17.61, 32 F.S.;
