       The Committee on Appropriations (Broxson) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Delete lines 54 - 67
    4  and insert:
    5         (d) Effective January 1, 2020, for basic hospital expense
    6  health insurance policies, basic medical-surgical health
    7  insurance policies, or major medical expense health insurance
    8  policies, but not including long-term care policies, $500,000.

   10  In no event is shall the association be liable for any penalties
   11  or interest.
