       The Committee on Education (Baxley) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 57 - 79
    4  and insert:
    5         (b) A client of the division who is participating in on
    6  the-job training shall be deemed an employee of the state for
    7  purposes of workers’ compensation coverage.
    8         Section 2. Section 413.209, Florida Statutes, is created to
    9  read:
   10         413.209 Workers’ compensation coverage for clients in on
   11  the-job training.—A client of the Division of Vocational
   12  Rehabilitation of the Department of Education who is
   13  participating in on-the-job training as a vocational
   14  rehabilitation service shall be deemed an employee of the state
   15  for purposes of workers’ compensation coverage.

   18  And the title is amended as follows:
   19         Delete lines 4 - 10
   20  and insert:
   21         client of the Division of Blind Services is considered
   22         an employee of the state for workers’ compensation
   23         coverage; creating s. 413.209, F.S.; providing that a
   24         specified client of the Division of Vocational
   25         Rehabilitation is considered an employee of the state
