       The Committee on Criminal Justice (Simmons) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 33 - 41
    4  and insert:
    5         (b) The jurisdiction where the electronic monitoring device
    6  was located upon the discovery of its removal, destruction,
    7  tampering, or damage; or
    8         (c) The jurisdiction where the actual removal or
    9  destruction of, tampering with, or damage to, the electronic
   10  monitoring device occurred.
   11         (4)(3) A person who violates this section commits a felony
   12  of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s.
   13  775.083, or s. 775.084.
   14         Section 2.  This act shall take effect October 1, 2019.
