House Comm: WD . 03/08/2021 . . . . ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— The Committee on Children, Families, and Elder Affairs (Garcia) recommended the following: 1 Senate Amendment 2 3 Delete lines 56 - 70 4 and insert: 5 (a) A young adult who is eligible to receive services under 6 s. 409.1451, until the young adult reaches 21 years of age, 7 without regard to any income, resource, or categorical 8 eligibility test that is otherwise required. 9 (b) Notwithstanding paragraph (a), a young adult who as a 10 child was eligible under Title IV-E of the Social Security Act 11 for foster care or state-provided foster care and was living in 12 out-of-home care in this state on his or her 18th birthday until 13 the young adult reaches 26 years of age, without regard to any 14 income, resource, or categorical eligibility test that is 15 otherwise requiredA person who as a child was eligible under16Title IV-E of the Social Security Act for foster care or the17state-provided foster care and who is a participant in the Road18to-Independence Program. 19 (c) A child who is eligible for the Guardianship Assistance
