HB 7081

1	A bill to be entitled
2	An act relating to a review under the Open Government
3	Sunset Review Act; amending s. 744.7082, F.S., which
4	provides an exemption from public records requirements for
5	information that identifies certain donors or prospective
6	donors to the direct-support organization for the
7	Statewide Public Guardianship Office; removing superfluous
8	and duplicative language; repealing s. 2, ch. 2006-179,
9	Laws of Florida, which provides for repeal of the
10	exemption; providing an effective date.

12	Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

14	Section 1.  Subsection (6) of section 744.7082, Florida
15	Statutes, is amended to read:
16	744.7082  Direct-support organization; definition; use of
17	property; board of directors; audit; dissolution.-
18	(6)  PUBLIC RECORDS.-Personal identifying information The
19	identity of a donor or prospective donor of funds or property to
20	the direct-support organization who desires to remain anonymous,
21	and all information identifying the donor or prospective donor,
22	is confidential and exempt from the provisions of s. 119.07(1)
23	and s. 24(a), Art. I of the State Constitution, and that
24	anonymity must be maintained in any publication concerning the
25	direct-support organization.
26	Section 2.  Section 2 of chapter 2006-179, Law of Florida,
27	is repealed.
28	Section 3.  This act shall take effect October 1, 2011.
