Transportation facility designations; Department 17 of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— 18 (1) Upon completion of replacement construction, bridge 19 number 380096 on U.S. 221/S.R. 55 over the Econfina River in 20 Taylor County is designated as “Private First Class Joey Moody 21 Bridge.” 22 (2) That portion of S.R. 80 between Hickey Creek Road and 23 Carter Lane in Lee County is designated as “Corporal Joseph R. 24 Bertrand Memorial Highway.” 25 (3) That portion of Interstate 75/S.R. 93A between Fowler 26 Avenue and Fletcher Avenue in Hillsborough County is designated 27 as “Lieutenant Benedict J. Acaba Road.” 121 (34) Upon completion of construction, that portion of the 122 S.R. 56 extension from Meadow Pointe Boulevard to U.S. 301/S.R. 123 41 in Pasco County is designated as the “Speaker Will 124 Weatherford Highway.” 125 (35) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect 126 suitable markers designating the transportation facilities as 127 described in this section. 128 Section 2. Section 1 of chapter 26497, Laws of Florida, 129 1951, is amended to read: 130 Section 1. That the following described route be and the 131 same is hereby declared, designated and established as a State 132 Road, forming a part of the connecting system of the State of 133 Florida, and shall be known as the SHEPARD BROAD CAUSEWAY 134BOULEVARD. 135 Beginning at the intersection of State Road AIA and 96th 136 Street in Dade County, Florida, and running in a Westerly 137 direction, as near as possible in a direct line, through the 138 Town of Bay Harbor Islands, Florida, across Broad Causeway, 139 spanning Biscayne Bay, and through the Town of North Miami, 140 Florida, to the point where such highway shall intersect with 141 State Road Number 7, along the most practicable and feasible 142 route to be determined by the State Road Department. 143 Section 3. Section 1 of chapter 2014-228, Laws of Florida, 144 is amended to read: 145 Section 1. Senator Larcenia J. Bullard Way designated; 146 Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.— 147 (1) That portion of S.R. 992/152nd Street between U.S. 1 148 and 117th Avenue in Miami-Dade County is designated as “Senator 149 Larcenia J. Bullard Way.” 150 (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect 151 suitable markers designating Senator Larcenia J. Bullard Way as 152 described in subsection (1). 153 Section 4. This act shall take effect July 1, 2016.
