Florida Senate - 2020 SB 674 By Senator Book 32-00622-20 2020674__ 1 A bill to be entitled 2 An act relating to immunization standards for child 3 care facilities; amending s. 402.305, F.S.; requiring 4 the Department of Children and Families to include in 5 licensure standards for child care facilities a 6 minimum percentage of children enrolled in a facility 7 who must have received immunizations; providing an 8 effective date. 9 10 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 11 12 Section 1. Paragraph (a) of subsection (9) of section 13 402.305, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: 14 402.305 Licensing standards; child care facilities.— 15 (9) ADMISSIONS AND RECORDKEEPING.— 16 (a) Minimum standards shall include requirements for 17 preadmission and periodic health examinations, requirements for 18 immunizations, and requirements for maintaining emergency 19 information and health records on all children. The standards 20 shall include a minimum percentage of all children enrolled in 21 the child care facility who must have received immunizations. 22 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2020.
