    2         An act relating to general tort liability; amending s.
    3         768.73, F.S.; providing for applicability of the
    4         punitive damages limitation; providing an effective
    5         date.

    7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    8  
    9         Section 1. Subsection (5) of section 768.73, Florida
   10  Statutes, is amended to read:
   11         768.73 Punitive damages; limitation.—
   12         (5) The provisions of This section applies shall be applied
   13  to all civil actions in which judgment has not been entered,
   14  regardless of the date on which the cause of action arose causes
   15  of action arising after the effective date of this act.
   16         Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law.
