BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Part 1 of Article 4 of Chapter 4 of Title 27 of the Official Code of
Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions regarding seafood, so as to
change certain provisions relating to possessing weakfish; to provide an
effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Part
1 of Article 4 of Chapter 4 of Title 27 of the Official Code of Georgia
Annotated, relating to general provisions regarding seafood, is amended by
revising paragraph (2) of subsection (c) of Code Section 27-4-130.1, relating to
open seasons, creel and possession limits, and minimum size limits for certain
finfish species, as follows:
"(2) Weakfish All year 6 1 13 inches"
"(2) Weakfish All year 6 1 13 inches"
SECTION
2.
This
Act shall become effective upon its approval by the Governor or upon its
becoming law without such approval.
SECTION
3.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
