BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Code Section 44-14-162 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating
to sales made on foreclosure under power of sale, manner of advertisement, and
conduct necessary for validity, so as to provide that the official organ of each
county shall list the addresses of property advertised for nonjudicial
foreclosure each week in alphabetical or numerical order; to provide for related
matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Code
Section 44-14-162 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to sales
made on foreclosure under power of sale, manner of advertisement, and conduct
necessary for validity, is amended by adding a new subsection to read as
follows:
"(c)
If any property advertised pursuant to this Code section has a street address,
such address shall appear at the beginning of the advertisement. Each official
county organ shall publish a separate list of property addresses advertised for
foreclosure each week listed in alphabetical or numerical order according to the
street address of the property. Each address listed shall show the reference
number of the corresponding
advertisement."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
