RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Mrs. Becky Ramsey; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Mrs. Becky Ramsey has long been recognized for her talent as an organist and for
faithfully demonstrating her commitment to uplifting the spirits of others
through her beautiful music; and
WHEREAS,
Mrs. Ramsey has diligently served as organist for First United Methodist Church
of Covington for 40 faithful years; and
WHEREAS,
her music has allowed First United Methodist Church to serve as a spiritual
leader of the community and place for fellowship; and
WHEREAS,
Mrs. Ramsey has a sincere desire to serve the Lord and is wholeheartedly
committed to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through her beautiful music;
and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that this enduring example of God's message
of peace and love be recognized and congratulated for her 40 years of service to
First United Methodist Church of Covington.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body congratulate Mrs. Becky Ramsey on the wonderful occasion of 40 years
as organist for First United Methodist Church of Covington and extend best
wishes for many more years of successful fellowship and leadership.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mrs. Becky
Ramsey.
