RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Walton High School; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Walton High School has been recognized by
Atlanta
Magazine as a 2011 Top All-Around School;
and
WHEREAS,
this superlative high school has maintained a proud tradition of excellence in
education through the outstanding efforts of the dedicated and hard-working
administration, faculty, and staff and the bright, focused, and determined
students; and
WHEREAS,
by creating a safe and respectful learning environment, Walton High School
enables students to learn with confidence, experience success, and achieve their
maximum potential; and
WHEREAS,
the teachers, administration, and staff of Walton High work diligently and
conscientiously to ensure students have access to the training and resources
necessary to succeed and foster positive relationships and mutual respect;
and
WHEREAS,
by its example, Walton High has set a standard of achievement and a model of
excellence and success for other schools to emulate; and
WHEREAS,
the State of Georgia takes great pride in the diligent study and preparation
taken by the students of Walton High and looks forward in anticipation to the
great achievements this school will accomplish in the future.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body congratulate Walton High School for being named a 2011 Top All-Around
School by Atlanta
Magazine and commend its outstanding
dedication and commitment to excellence in education.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Walton High
School.
