RESOLUTION
Commending
Emily Kathryn Escoe; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
a proper quality education for the young people of this state is the single most
important objective of the General Assembly; and
WHEREAS,
Emily Kathryn Escoe has shown by the example of her academic accomplishments
that the pursuit and attainment of scholastic success is within the reach of the
students in this state; and
WHEREAS,
this remarkable scholar has earned distinction through her superlative
achievements as a student at Stephens County High School where she has been
selected to receive the 2009 Stephens Scholars Achievement Award for outstanding
results on her college admissions examination; and
WHEREAS,
she has personified the selfless dedication, mental agility, verbal adroitness,
and personal maturity necessary for superlative academic performance;
and
WHEREAS,
the state of Georgia looks with great anticipation toward the future of this
bright and promising young citizen.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body heartily commend Emily Kathryn Escoe for her spectacular scholastic
endeavors and express to her their sincerest best wishes for continued academic
success in the future.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Emily Kathryn
Escoe.
