RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Leadership McDuffie Board Member Lisa Adams; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
Lisa Adams is an outstanding and dedicated board member of Leadership McDuffie,
a local program which applies the effective principles of Leadership Georgia;
and
WHEREAS,
participants in the Leadership McDuffie program represent the exceptional young
leaders of the county, and the challenging educational program is designed to
prepare them to be outstanding future leaders of Georgia and McDuffie County;
and
WHEREAS,
this year, Leadership McDuffie celebrates its 20th anniversary, with much of the
program's success due to the time, talents, and energy devoted to it by the
Leadership McDuffie board members; and
WHEREAS,
the board members of Leadership McDuffie invest wholeheartedly, and their
dedication and sacrifice enriches the lives of the participants, allowing them
to master the art of good leadership; and
WHEREAS,
Lisa Adams has long been recognized by the citizens of this state as a leader
with a deep personal commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia, and
this well-deserved reputation is proven through participation as a Leadership
McDuffie board member.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body wholeheartedly commend Lisa Adams for energetic participation as a
board member of Leadership McDuffie and extend their most sincere gratitude to
this community leader.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Lisa Adams.
