A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT

To amend an Act creating a new charter for the City of Lilburn, approved August 25, 2002 (Ga. L. 2002, p. 4757), so as to change the corporate limits of the city; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

SECTION 1.

An Act creating a new charter for the City of Lilburn, approved August 25, 2002 (Ga. L. 2002, p. 4757), is amended by adding a new subsection to Section 1.11 to read as follows:

"(c) In addition to any territory lying within the corporate limits of the City of Lilburn, such corporate limits shall also include the following properties included in the tax parcels set forth below as those tax parcels exist on the tax rolls and the tax maps of Gwinnett County for the year 2011, and all of the public roadways and rights of way adjacent to those parcels, including railroad rights of way lying adjacent to those parcels or to public roadways adjacent to those parcels:

SECTION 2.

This Act shall become effective on December 1, 2011.

SECTION 3.

All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
