A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT

An Act to amend the several Acts relating to and incorporating the mayor and aldermen of the City of Savannah, amendatory thereto and supplementary thereof, so as to provide that the mayor, upon consultation with and with input from the city council and city manager, shall prepare and set the agenda for all meetings of the city council; to provide for related matters; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

SECTION 1.

The mayor of the City of Savannah, upon consultation with and with input from the city council and city manager, shall prepare and set the agenda for all meetings of the city council of the City of Savannah.

SECTION 2.

This Act shall become effective on January 1, 2012.

SECTION 3.

All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
