A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to the statewide traffic code.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 291C-27, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending subsection (b) to read as follows:
"(b) As used in this section, "emergency vehicle" means a police or fire department vehicle, public safety law enforcement vehicles, ocean safety vehicle, emergency medical services vehicle, freeway service patrol vehicle, or a tow truck."
SECTION 2. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
