A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO THE REVIEW OF HISTORIC PRESERVATION PROJECTS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 6E-2, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending the definition of "programmatic agreement" to read as follows:
""Programmatic agreement" means
a document that sets forth the terms of a formal, legally binding agreement [and],
establishes a process for consultation[,] and review, and [compliance]
is consistent with state and federal laws."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2115.
