A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE FORTY-FOURTH REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2015-2016:
1. To be expended by the department of education:
A. Waianae high school, Oahu
Construction for the merging of SP and T buildings to create additional classrooms and a production area.

B. Waianae high school, Oahu
Design and construction for a rubberized all-weather track and field.
Design $175,000
Construction $1,575,000
Total funding $1,750,000
C. Waianae high school, Oahu
Construction to replace existing wooden bleachers; ground and site improvements; equipment and appurtenances.

D. Waianae intermediate school, Oahu
Design and construction for the installation of security cameras.

E. Kamaile elementary school, Oahu
Plans, land, and design for school expansion.

Planning and design for flood control and drainage improvements to Eku stream.

Planning and design for drainage improvements to Noholio road.

D. Makaha stream berm, phase 1, Oahu
Planning and design to repair the existing Makaha stream berm.

3. To be expended by the department of transportation:
A. Replace Eku stream bridge at Makaha, Oahu
Design and construction to replace Eku stream bridge at Farrington highway crossing Eku stream.

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agencies for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2015.
