A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to Capital improvement projects for the benefit of the thirty-seventh representative district.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Mililani and Waipio Gentry's thirty-seventh representative district encompasses the new and expanding area of Waipio Gentry and older areas of Mililani. The aging schools serving the residents of the district face deteriorating facilities in need of repair and maintenance to ensure that they can continue to meet our youth's educational needs.
SECTION 2. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2011-2012:

A. Kanoelani elementary school, Oahu
Design and construction for
campus-wide electrical system upgrade.

SECTION 3. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 2 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2011.
