A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE NINTH REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2015-2016:
1. To be expended by the department of education:
A. Maui high school, Maui
Construction for weight training and wrestling rooms; ground and site improvements; equipment and appurtenances.
Construction $2,700,000
Total funding $2,700,000
B. Maui high school, Maui
Construction to renovate and expand the band/choir building including additional storage; ground and site improvements; equipment and appurtenances.
Construction $4,050,000
Total funding $4,050,000
C. Maui high school, Maui
Design and construction to replace and expand the gymnasium floor to facilitate cross play.
Design $8,000
Construction $207,000
Total funding $215,000
SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2015.
