A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO TAXATION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 231-3.4, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending subsection (a) to read as follows:
"(a) The department of taxation shall
publish [reports on the following]:
(1) An annual report on Hawaii income patterns--individuals;
(2) A biennial report on Hawaii income patterns--corporations, proprietorships, and partnerships; and
(3) [Tax] An annual report on tax
credits.
The department shall submit the reports to the legislature at least twenty days prior to the convening of each regular session and make each of these reports available to the public in both paper form and commonly accessible electronic forms for a reasonable fee."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed
is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
