A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO MORTGAGE SERVICERS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 454M-4, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending subsection (a) to read as follows:
"(a) An applicant
for licensure shall file an application on a form prescribed by NMLS or by the commissioner and shall pay an
application fee of $675. Each license shall
expire on [June 30] December 31 of each
calendar year. A license may be renewed by filing a renewal statement on a form
prescribed by NMLS or by the commissioner and
paying a renewal fee of $425, at least four weeks
prior to [the renewal period for
licensure for the following year.] December 31."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
