A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO THE HAWAII TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
PART I
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $ or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2019-2020 to be deposited into the research and development special fund established pursuant to section 206M-15.3, Hawaii Revised Statutes.
SECTION 2. There is appropriated out of the research and development special fund the sum of $ or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2019-2020 for the purposes of the research and development program established pursuant to 206M-15.2, Hawaii Revised Statutes.
SECTION 3. The sums appropriated shall be expended by the Hawaii technology development corporation for the purposes of this Act.
PART II
SECTION 5. There is appropriated out of the alternative
energy research and development revolving fund the sum of $
or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2019-2020
for the purpose of providing grants pursuant to the alternative energy
research and development program.
SECTION 6. The sums appropriated shall be expended by the Hawaii technology development corporation for the purposes of this part.
PART III
SECTION 7. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2112.
