A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

relating to health care coordination.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $1,500,000 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2017-2018 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2018-2019 for the public-private partnership established by section 323F-12, Hawaii Revised Statutes, to research, develop, and implement a model of health care delivery in Maui county that addresses coordination of care in a manner that is seamless, efficient, appropriate, and cost-effective.

     The sums appropriated shall be expended by the Hawaii health systems corporation for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 2.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2017.
