A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

relating to the university of hawaii.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  Chapter 304A, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new subpart to part IV to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:

"   .  School of physical, occupational, and speech therapy

     §304A-    School of physical, occupational, and speech therapy; establishment.  There is established a school of physical, occupational, and speech therapy at the University of Hawaii with such management, faculty, and other personnel as the board of regents may designate.

     §304A-    School of physical, occupational, and speech therapy; functions.  Subject to the availability of funds, faculty, and facilities, the school shall offer such courses of study as may be deemed appropriate and confer such degrees as may be authorized by the board of regents."

     SECTION 2.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
