STATE OF HAWAII

SENATE CONCURRENT

RESOLUTION

 

 

relating to additional dates of recess for the regular session of 2020.

 

 

     WHEREAS, House Concurrent Resolution No. 1 and Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 243, Regular Session of 2020, provided designated recess days for the Regular Session of 2020 and were previously adopted by the House of Representatives and the Senate; and

 

     WHEREAS, pursuant to Article III, section 10, of the Hawaii State Constitution, any session may be recessed by concurrent resolution adopted by a majority of the members of each chamber;

now, therefore,

 

     BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the Thirtieth Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Regular Session of 2020, the House of Representatives concurring, that pursuant to Article III, section 10, of the Hawaii State Constitution, two additional dates of recess for the Regular Session of 2020 is hereby determined to be on Tuesday the 7th day of July and Thursday the 9th day of July; and

 

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this Concurrent Resolution be transmitted to the Governor.
