2.
APPLICABILITY.
This
Act
applies
to
student

identification
cards
issued
on
or
after
the
effective
date

of
this
Act.
A
school
that
has
a
supply
of
unused
student

identification
cards
shall
use
that
supply
prior
to
complying
13
with
the
requirements
of
this
Act
relating
to
student
14
identification
cards.

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
requires
public
schools
to
include
on
either
side

of
identification
cards
issued
to
students
in
grades
seven
20
through
twelve
the
your
life
Iowa
crisis
telephone
and

numbers.
The
bill
authorizes
a
public
school
that
issues

identification
cards
to
students
in
grades
five
and
six
to
do

so
as
well.

The
bill
applies
to
student
identification
cards
issued
on

after
the
effective
date
of
the
bill.

school
that
has
a

of
