  1  1    Section 1.  LOW=INCOME HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM ==
  1  2 SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION.  There is appropriated from the
  1  3 general fund of the state to the division of community action
  1  4 agencies of the department of human rights for the fiscal year
  1  5 beginning July 1, 2014, and ending June 30, 2015, the following
  1  6 amount, or so much thereof as is necessary, to be used for the
  1  7 purpose designated:
  1  8    To supplement the appropriation made for the low=income
  1  9 home energy assistance program in 2013 Iowa Acts, chapter 136,
  1 10 section 10:
  1 11 .................................................. $  1,000,000
  1 12    Sec. 2.  EFFECTIVE UPON ENACTMENT.  This Act, being deemed of
  1 13 immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment.
  1 14                           EXPLANATION
  1 15 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with
  1 16 the explanation's substance by the members of the general assembly.
  1 17    This bill makes a supplemental appropriation from the
  1 18 general fund of the state for FY 2014=2015 to the division of
  1 19 community action agencies of the department of human rights for
  1 20 the low=income home energy assistance program. The original
  1 21 appropriation being supplemented is from federal block grant
  1 22 funds.
  1 23    The bill takes effect upon enactment.
