There
is
appropriated
from
the
general
fund

of
the
state
to
the
department
of
health
and
human
services

for
the
fiscal
year
beginning
July
1,
2023,
and
ending
June

30,
2024,
in
addition
to
any
other
funds
appropriated
for
the

same
purpose,
the
following
amount,
or
so
much
thereof
as
is

necessary,
to
be
used
for
the
purposes
designated:

funds
appropriated

this
section

the

health

human
services

adjust
reimbursement

for
providers
participating
in
the
dental
wellness
plan

and
dental
wellness
plan
kids
to
provide
reimbursement
for

services
at
the
commercial
usual,
customary,
and
reasonable

fee
rate
or
at
the
commercial
dental
insurance
billed
charges

rate
for
the
service;
whichever
is
higher,
in
order
to
maximize
15
dental
provider
participation
in
and
member
access
under
the
16
dental
wellness
plan
and
dental
wellness
plan
kids.

bill
makes
an
appropriation
from
the
general
fund
of

(HHS)

FY
2023-2024,

funds
appropriated

the

purpose,

be
used
by
HHS
to

reimbursement

rates
for

in

plan

and

to
provide
reimbursement
