STATE
EMPLOYEE
WORK
ENVIRONMENT
ANALYSIS

AND
REPORT.
By
September
30,
2012,
the
department
of
2
administrative
services
shall
conduct
a
high
level
needs
3
analysis
of
state
employee
work
stations
and
office
standards,
4
focusing
on
reducing
square
footage
needs
and
creating
5
healthy,
productive,
and
efficient
work
environments.
Overall
6
objectives
of
the
analysis
shall
include
improving
employee
7
density;
properly
allocating
space
for
individual
and
group
8
work;
improving
worker
health
and
safety;
improving
technology
9
integration;
and
improving
energy
efficiency
and
sustainability
10
in
state
offices.
The
department
shall
submit
findings
and
11
recommendations
to
the
capitol
planning
commission
and
to
the
12
legislative
government
oversight
committee
by
October
30,
2012.

EXPLANATION

This
bill
requires
that
the
department
of
administrative

services

an
analysis
of
state
employee
work
stations

and
office
standards
by
September
30,
2012.
The
bill
further

requires
the
department
to
submit
findings
and
