Iowa
tuition
grant.

Each
school
district
shall,
in
consultation
with
the
college
3
student
aid
commission,
develop
and
disseminate
information
and
4
educational
materials
related
to
the
Iowa
tuition
grant
program
5
established
pursuant
to
chapter
261,
subchapter
II,
part
1,
to
6
students
enrolled
in
grades
ten
through
twelve.

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with
9
the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

Current
law
establishes
the
Iowa
tuition
grant
program
11
within
the
college
student
aid
commission.
Under
the
program,
12
the
commission
awards
grants
to
Iowa
residents
enrolled
at
one
13
of
Iowa’s
eligible
private
colleges
or
universities.
This
bill
14
requires
school
districts,
in
consultation
with
the
commission,
15
to
develop
and
disseminate
information
and
educational
16
materials
related
to
the
program
to
students
enrolled
in
grades
17
10
through
12.
