1.
NEW
SECTION
.
103A.8D
Parking
lot
construction
1
——
water
drainage.
2
A
person
shall
not
construct
a
new
parking
lot
associated
3
with
a
commercial
building
unless
permeable
paving
or
a
4
reservoir
retention
system
is
used
in
such
construction.
For
5
purposes
of
this
section,
“commercial
building”
is
limited
to
a
6
commercial
building
that
is
intended
to
be
open
for
business
7
seven
days
a
week
for
twenty-four
hours
a
day.
This
section
8
does
not
apply
to
the
construction
of
a
multiple
story
parking
9
ramp,
a
parking
lot
with
a
capacity
of
less
than
one
hundred
10
fifty
parking
spaces,
or
a
parking
lot
built
by
the
state,
a
11
political
subdivision
of
the
state,
or
a
school
district.

This
bill
relates
to
the
use
of
permeable
paving
and

The
bill
requires
permeable
paving
or
a
reservoir
retention

system
to
be
used
in
the
construction
of
a
new
parking
lot
20
associated
with
a
commercial
building.
The
bill
only
applies
21
to
a
commercial
building
that
is
intended
to
be
open
for
22
business
seven
days
a
week
for
24
hours
a
day.
The
bill
does
23
not
apply
to
the
construction
of
a
multiple
story
parking
ramp,
24
a
parking
lot
with
a
capacity
of
less
than
150
parking
spaces,
25
or
a
parking
lot
built
by
the
state,
a
political
subdivision
of
26
the
state,
or
a
school
district.
