Definitions.

As
used
in
this
chapter,
unless
the
context
otherwise

requires:

1.
“Employee”
means
a
natural
person
who
is
employed
in
this
4
state
for
wages
by
an
employer.

2.
“Employer”
means
a
person,
as
defined
in
chapter
4,
who
6
in
this
state
employs
for
wages
a
natural
person.

Mandatory
implantation
of
devices

in
employees
prohibited.

1.
An
employer
shall
not
require
that
an
employee
have
10
a
microchip
or
other
device
implanted
or
inserted
in
the
11
employee’s
body.
An
employer
shall
not
provide
any
incentive
12
or
privilege
to
an
employee
for
agreeing
to
have
a
microchip
or
13
other
device
implanted
or
inserted
in
the
employee’s
body
that
14
is
not
equally
available
to
employees
who
do
not
so
agree.

2.
An
employee
may
voluntarily
agree
to
have
a
microchip
or
16
other
device
implanted
or
inserted
in
the
employee’s
body
if
17
not
required
or
offered
an
incentive
or
privilege
to
do
so
by
18
an
employer.

EXPLANATION
20
The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with
21
the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
prohibits
an
employer
from
requiring
that
an
23
employee
have
a
microchip
or
other
device
implanted
or
inserted
24
in
the
employee’s
body.
The
bill
also
prohibits
an
employer
25
from
providing
any
incentive
or
privilege
to
an
employee
for
26
agreeing
to
have
a
microchip
or
other
device
implanted
or
27
inserted
in
the
employee’s
body
that
is
not
equally
available
28
to
employees
who
do
not
so
agree.

The
bill
provides
that
an
employee
may
voluntarily
agree
30
to
have
a
microchip
or
other
device
implanted
or
inserted
in
31
the
employee’s
body
if
not
required
or
offered
an
incentive
or

to

so
by
an
employer.
