Section
1.
Section
272C.2,
subsection
2,
Code
2024,
is
1
amended
by
adding
the
following
new
paragraph:

NEW
PARAGRAPH
.
h.
Allow
a
licensee
to
apply
continuing
3
education
credit
obtained
in
excess
of
the
requirements
for
a
4
renewal
period
to
the
continuing
education
requirements
for
5
the
following
renewal
period
in
an
amount
not
to
exceed
fifty
6
percent
of
the
continuing
education
credits
required
for
a
7
renewal
period.
A
licensing
board
may
adopt
rules
specifying
8
types
of
continuing
education
credits
earned
in
a
renewal
9
period
that
cannot
be
applied
to
the
continuing
education
10
requirements
for
the
following
renewal
period.
