SECTION
.
280.31
Field
trips
and
school
1
activities
at
the
capitol
building
——
written
consent
regarding
2
pistols
and
revolvers.

The
board
of
directors
of
a
school
district
and
the
4
authorities
in
charge
of
a
nonpublic
school
shall
establish
a
5
policy
requiring
that
when
written
consent
is
obtained
from
a
6
parent
or
guardian
of
a
student
for
the
student
to
participate
7
in
a
field
trip
or
school
activity
that
will
take
place
in
the
8
capitol
building
or
on
the
grounds
surrounding
the
capitol
9
building,
the
consent
form
shall
include
language
informing
10
parents
and
guardians
that
pistols
or
revolvers
may
be
lawfully
11
carried,
transported,
or
possessed
in
the
capitol
building
and
12
on
the
grounds
surrounding
the
capitol
building
pursuant
to
13
section
8A.322,
subsection
3.

requires

boards

in

that
will
take
place
in
the
capitol
building
or

surrounding
the
capitol

the
consent

must
include
language

parents

guardians
that

revolvers
may
be
lawfully
carried,
transported,

or
possessed
in
the
capitol
building
and
on
the
grounds

surrounding

capitol

pursuant
to
state
