                             AN ACT
 RELATING TO EXCEPTIONS FROM CHILD CARE FACILITY
    LICENSING REQUIREMENTS.

 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
    Section 1.  Section 237A.1, subsection 3, paragraph a,
 unnumbered paragraph 1, Code 2017, is amended to read as
 follows:
    An instructional program for children who are attending
 prekindergarten as defined by the state board of education
 under section 256.11 or a higher grade level and are at least
 four years of age, or are at least three years of age and
 eligible for special education under chapter 256B, administered
 by any of the following:
