Section
1.
Section
99B.7,
subsection
3,
paragraph
a,
Code
1
2011,
is
amended
to
read
as
follows:

a.
A
person
wishing
to
conduct
games
and
raffles
pursuant
3
to
this
section
as
a
qualified
organization
shall
submit
an
4
application
and
a
license
fee
of
one
hundred
fifty
dollars.
5
The
annual
license
fee
for
a
statewide
raffle
license
shall
6
be
one
hundred
fifty
dollars.
However,
upon
submission
of
an
7
application
accompanied
by
a
license
fee
of
fifteen
dollars,
8
a
person
may
be
issued
a
limited
license
to
conduct
all
games
9
and
raffles
pursuant
to
this
section
at
a
specified
location
10
and
during
a
specified
period
of
fourteen
consecutive
calendar
11
days,
except
that
a
bingo
occasion
may
only
be
conducted
once
12
per
each
seven
consecutive
calendar
days
or
once
per
day
for
a
13
period
of
up
to
six
consecutive
calendar
days
of
the
specified
14
period.
In
addition,
a
qualified
organization
may
be
issued
15
a
limited
license
to
conduct
raffles
pursuant
to
this
section
16
for
a
period
of
ninety
days
for
a
license
fee
of
forty
dollars
17
or
for
a
period
of
one
hundred
eighty
days
for
a
license
fee
of
18
seventy-five
dollars.
For
the
purposes
of
this
paragraph,
a
19
limited
license
is
deemed
to
be
issued
on
the
first
day
of
the
20
period
for
which
the
license
is
issued.

2.
Section
99B.7,
subsection
8,
Code
2011,
is
amended
22
to
read
as
follows:

8.
A
qualified
organization
licensed
under
this
section
24
shall
purchase
bingo
equipment
and
supplies
only
from
a
25
manufacturer
or
a
distributor
licensed
by
the
department.

A
qualified
organization
may
also
lease
electronic
bingo
27
equipment
from
a
manufacturer
or
a
distributor
licensed
by
the
28
department
for
the
purpose
of
aiding
disabled
individuals.

EXPLANATION
30
This
bill
relates
to
qualified
organizations
that
conduct
31
certain
games
of
skill
or
chance.
The
bill
allows
for
certain
32
limited
licenses
to
be
issued
permitting
bingo
occasions
to
be
33
played
once
per
day
for
six
consecutive
calendar
days.
The
34
bill
also
allows
qualified
organizations,
for
the
purpose

qualified
organization
is
defined
as
an
organization
4
licensed
by
the
department
of
inspections
and
appeals
which
5
dedicates
its
net
receipts
from
a
game
of
skill
or
chance
or
a
6
raffle
to
educational,
civic,
public,
charitable,
patriotic,
7
or
religious
uses.
