speaker
shall
preserve

Subject

have

Budget

The
speaker
of
the
house
shall
annually
prepare
a

proposed
budget
for
the
house
of
representatives
for

payment
of
expenses,
salaries,
per
diems,
and
other

The
proposed
budget
shall
be
submitted
on
the

fourteenth
day
of
each
legislative
session
to
the
house

administration
and
rules
committee,
which
shall
approve

a
proposed
budget
in
house
resolution
form.
The
house

shall
adopt
a
budget
prior
to
adjournment.

Speaker
Pro
Tempore

The
house
shall,
at
its
pleasure,
elect
a
speaker

pro
tempore.
When
the
speaker
shall

any
cause
be

absent,
the
speaker
pro
tempore
shall

filled
by
appointment
by
either

the
speaker
or
the
speaker

If
a
vacancy
