The
speaker
shall
take
the
chair
at
the

the

to
other

including,
but
not
limited
to,
introduction

No
member

without
leave
while
the

Subject
to
an
appeal
to
the

may
have
the
chamber
of
the
house

cleared

Budget

The
speaker
of
the
house
shall
annually
prepare
a

proposed
budget
for
the
house
of
representatives
for

payment

expenses,
salaries,
per
diems,
and
other

The
proposed
budget
shall
be
submitted
on
the

fourteenth
day
of
each
legislative
session
to
the
house

administration
and
rules
committee,
which
shall
approve
8
a
proposed
budget
in
house
resolution
form.
The
house

shall
adopt
a
budget
prior
to
adjournment.

Speaker
Pro
Tempore

The
house
shall,
at
its
pleasure,
elect
a
speaker

pro
tempore.
When
the
speaker
shall
for
any
cause
be

absent,
the
speaker
pro
tempore
shall
preside,

filled
by
appointment
by
either

the
speaker
