142D.2,
Code
2019,
is
amended
by
adding

the
following
new
subsections:

game”
means
the
same
as

floor”
means
the

as

2019,
is
amended

read
as

the
gaming
floor
of
a
premises

licensed
pursuant
to
chapter
99F
where
smoking
is
allowed,

exclusive
of
any
bar
or
restaurant
located
within
the
gaming

floor
which
is
an
enclosed
area
and
subject
to
the
prohibitions

of
section
142D.3
,
if
the
gaming
floor
is
apportioned
to

provide
an
equal
quantity
of
the
type
of
gambling
game
14
authorized
by
the
state
racing
and
gaming
commission
for
the
15
licensed
premises
in
both
an
area
where
smoking
is
allowed
and
16
an
area
where
smoking
is
prohibited,
and
if
smoke
from
the
area

where
smoking
is
allowed
does
not
infiltrate
into
the
area

where
smoking
is
prohibited
.

this

This
bill
relates
to
smoking
on
gaming
floors.
The
bill

amends
the
exception
under
the
smokefree
air
Act
allowing

smoking
on
the
gaming
floors
of
the
premises
licensed

pursuant
to
Code
chapter
99F
(gambling
structures,
excursion
26
gambling
boats,
and
racetracks)
to
provide
that
smoking
27
is
not
prohibited
only
on
the
portion
of
the
gaming
floor
28
where
smoking
is
allowed,
if
the
gaming
floor
is
apportioned
29
to
provide
an
equal
quantity
of
the
type
of
gambling
game
30
authorized
by
the
state
racing
and
gaming
commission
for
the
31
licensed
premises
in
both
an
area
where
smoking
is
allowed
and
32
an
area
where
smoking
is
prohibited,
and
if
smoke
from
the
area

where
smoking

allowed
