Secondary
road
improvements
1

A
person
who,
without
compensation,
performs
necessary

improvements
to
a
secondary
road
as
defined
in
section
306.3,

shall
not
be
liable
for
civil
damages
for
acts
or
omissions
5
resulting
from
the
necessary
improvements.
“Necessary

improvements”
includes
but
is
not
limited
to
maintenance
and
7
repair.

EXPLANATION

This
bill
provides
that
a
person
who,
without
compensation,

performs
necessary
improvements
to
a
secondary
road
shall
not
11
be
liable
for
civil
damages
for
acts
or
omissions
resulting
12
from
the
necessary
improvements.
“Necessary
improvements”
13
includes
but
is
not
limited
to
maintenance
and
repair.

A
secondary
road
is
defined
in
Code
section
306.3
as
a
road
15
under
county
jurisdiction.
