Section
1.
COLLECTION
OF
EMPLOYER
INFORMATION
——

MEDICAID.
The
department
of
human
services
shall
require
an
2
adult
applicant
for
or
recipient
of
Medicaid
to
provide
the
3
name
and
contact
information
of
the
applicant’s
or
recipient’s
4
employer
at
the
time
of
initial
application
and
at
any
time
the
5
recipient’s
employer
changes.
The
department
shall
compile
6
and
publish
on
the
department’s
internet
site,
on
a
quarterly
7
basis,
a
listing
of
those
employers
who
employ
Medicaid
8
recipients,
including
the
number
of
recipients
employed
by
each
9
employer.
For
the
purposes
of
the
compiling
and
publishing
of
10
information
by
the
department
under
this
section,
“employer”
11
means
a
person
who
employs
twenty
or
more
employees,
excluding
12
part-time
employees.

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
directs
the
department
of
human
services
(DHS)
17
to
require
an
adult
applicant
for
or
recipient
of
Medicaid
to
18
provide
the
name
and
contact
information
of
the
applicant’s
19
or
recipient’s
employer
at
the
time
of
initial
application
20
and
at
any
time
the
recipient’s
employer
changes.
DHS
is
21
required
to
compile
and
publish
on
the
department’s
internet
22
site,
on
a

basis,
a

of
those
employers
who
23
employ
Medicaid
recipients,
including
the
number
of
recipients
24
employed
by
each
employer.
For
the
purposes
of
the
