INSURANCE
PROGRAM

(CHIP).
The
department
of
health
and
human
services
shall

request
a
waiver
from
the
centers
for
Medicare
and
Medicaid
4
services
of
the
United
States
department
of
health
and
human
5
services
to
implement
continuous
eligibility
and
enrollment
for
6
children
eligible
for
Medicaid
or
CHIP
to
allow
children
to
7
remain
continuously
eligible
and
enrolled
in
medical
assistance
8
or
CHIP
without
regard
to
a
change
in
household
income
for
two
9
years
after
the
last
day
of
the
month
in
which
the
child
was
10
enrolled.

bill
requires
the
department
of
health
and
human

services
to
request
a
federal

to

continuously
eligible
and
enrolled

assistance
or
CHIP
without
