  1  1    Section 1.  ORAL CONTRACEPTIVES == PRESCRIBING AND
  1  2 DISPENSING OF UP TO TWELVE=MONTH SUPPLY.  The department of
  1  3 human services shall provide for the prescribing and dispensing
  1  4 of up to a twelve=month supply of oral contraceptives at one
  1  5 time as a covered benefit for a member under the Medicaid
  1  6 program.
  1  7                           EXPLANATION
  1  8 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with
  1  9 the explanation's substance by the members of the general assembly.
  1 10    This bill directs the department of human services to
  1 11 provide for the prescribing and dispensing of up to a 12=month
  1 12 supply of oral contraceptives at one time as a covered benefit
  1 13 for a member under the Medicaid program.
