EFFECTIVE

Act,
being
deemed
of
immediate

importance,
takes
effect
upon
enactment.

RETROACTIVE
APPLICABILITY.
This
Act
applies

retroactively
to
January
1,
2020.

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
exempts
free
clinics
from
required
electronic
16
prescribing
including
those
prescriptions
issued
for
a
17
controlled
substance.
The
bill
takes
effect
upon
enactment
and
18
is
retroactively
applicable
to
January
1,
2020.
