  3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:

  1  1    Section 1.  Section 455C.5, subsection 2, Code 2017, is
  1  2 amended by adding the following new paragraph:
  1  3    NEW PARAGRAPH.  d.  The beverage container contains wine as
  1  4 defined in section 123.3.
  1  5                           EXPLANATION
  1  6 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with
  1  7 the explanation's substance by the members of the general assembly.
  1  8    This bill provides that beverage containers containing wine
  1  9 are not required to have the beverage container refund value
  1 10 affixed to the container.
