a

certified
pursuant
to
chapter

to
verify
the

accuracy
of
a
transcript.

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
provides
that
an
audio
recording
which
is
a
public
9
record
and
which
a
certified
shorthand
reporter
uses
to
verify
10
the
accuracy
of
a
transcript
is
to
be
kept
confidential,
unless
11
otherwise
ordered
by
a
court,
by
the
lawful
custodian
of
the
12
record,
or
by
another
person
duly
authorized
to
release
such
13
recording.
